Vazhakka uppu curry/Raw plaintain thoran



Recipe

U need
1.Raw plaintain(banana)-2 nos(medium sized)
2.Shallots-5 nos sliced
3.Green chillies slit-3 nos
4.Greated coconut-1/4 cup
5.Crushed red chillies-2 tsp
6.Salt to taste
7.Water-Just enough to cook banana.
8.Coconut oil-2 tblsp

How to make Vazhakka uppu curry/Raw plaintain thoran

1.Cut plaintains lengthwise into thin 1 inch pieces..
2.Cook together plaintain pieces,shallots,salt,red chillies,grated coconut,green chillies and enough water ans salt to cook it...
3.Cook it covered till the pieces r tender.
4.Finally switch off the flame and pour the coconut oil on top..
Serve with rice..
